Causes of overheating in the hydraulic system of a truck-mounted crane and measures for cooling.
2021-07-23
Analysis of the Causes of Hydraulic System Overheating in Truck-Mounted Cranes:
1. The truck-mounted crane’s fuel tank has an insufficient volume, inadequate heat‑dissipation surface area, and either no oil‑cooling system or a cooling system with too small a capacity.
2. For truck-mounted cranes, a fixed-displacement pump‑based hydraulic system is selected based on the fast‑advance speed; during operation, most of the excess flow is diverted through the relief valve, generating heat due to high‑pressure overflow.
3. When the unloading circuit in the truck-mounted crane system fails, or when the system ceases to operate due to the absence of an unloading circuit, the oil pump cannot unload, causing all of its flow to overflow under high pressure, resulting in overflow losses, overheating, and oil heating.
